Blue's Bike and Fitness is now Bike Rack Cycling & Fitness - Lincoln
In an effort to keep things consistent between the shop here in Lincoln and the shop in Omaha, we have changed our name to Bike Rack Cycling & Fitness. For the last 10 years both shops have been working together to be the best bike shops in the Lincoln and Omaha area and this will continue to be our goal. We still have the same great staff, selection, and service that you have come to expect at our shop, we will just have a new sign out front and a new website address (http://www.bike-rack.com/). The Trek sponsored cycling team Astana has been banned from riding in this years Tour de France as well as Paris-Nice, Paris-Roubaix, and other major cycling events. The reason given is because of past problems the Tour organizers have had with the Astana team with doping. This year the Astana team has an all new team, most of the riders coming from the old Discovery Team, and a new sponsor Trek. The riders spend the majority of their waking hours (as well as sleep time to recover) training for big rides like the Tour de France and this year some of the best contenders may not be able to ride.
